GAMSF 21P and 57B Rail Cask

The GA-Mitsubishi Spent Fuel (GAMSF) casks are high capacity rail casks designed to ship 21 PWR and 57 BWR spent fuel assemblies.  The GAMSF casks can ship high enrichment, high burnup fuel, as well as DOE spent fuel and high level waste.   These high technology rail casks complement GA’s family of advanced legal weight truck casks.

The GAMSF cask fleet is fully compliant with all current International Atomic Energy Agency’s regulations for the safe transport of radioactive materials.  Regulatory testing of full scale and sub-scale casks are currently in progress to support licensing applications.
